If anyone wants to suggest some quests for either Viceroy (paladins) guildmaster (assassins) or king (spawn npc) let me know.
Your limitations are:
Quest tasks/objectives: a: Player combat, user/group name, list, number to kill/message b: destroy X block X times/message c: build x block x times/message d: collect item x, x amount/message e: take item X, of quantity X to NPC X/message f: travel on foot, X number of blocks distance/message g: hunt x amount of X mob/list/message h: move to location X Y Z within X blocks range
Information attached to quest: Quest description Quest accept text Quest done text how many times can quest be done
Each objective can be optional or necessary to complete mission Each objective has its own message Each objective can be flagged as "this will end the quest" Objectives can be chained in order. Eg gather wood THEN gather coal or gather wood or coal in no particular order
Rewards: can be give an item x qty - eg give 10 apples can be take item x qty - eg take 10 rotten flesh can be increase health (mostly useless but could be used so you heal if you dig a flower or something) - so quests could be used as "buffs" in that respect. can be X amount of money can be - start X quest - eg do a quest to chop wood, then offer quest to dig coal on sucess give X permission node - eg elevators.create give X rank (+ option to replace existing) run X console command <player> denotes person doing quest eg warp rewardsroom <player> or nick &4<player>
