Some of the players on this server have been suggesting a voice chat, which I personally think is a great idea. This poll isn't going to decide what system we'll be using, but I think it might show us what people would be happiest with and would be easiest for everyone. If you do know of any other voice chatting systems and would like to suggest one, just give some information about it (like what its pro's/cons are, how it's better than the other systems, etc.) and we'll suggest it. Just please don't simply say "This is a cool system, I use it all the time, if you don't use it your a n00b!" or anything like that. We need details people. P.S. I don't want to raise everyone's hopes, because it is possible the voice chat idea is turned down. Please keep that in mind, and don't nag the staff saying "When will it be up? What system are we using?" -Vøx

i'm saying skype, cause i use it, and i find it fine to use 99% of the time. however I have used steam as well, and it too was pretty good for voice cat. I'm not really sure of what details to put down, as it depends on your internet speed. my internet is fair. I had a little lag problems/delays with steam, not as much with skype. both programs gave back occasional feedback, more feedback on steam then skype.

Steam sucks for voice chat IMO......almost as bad as skype ahahaha. Steam chat was made for typing not voice chatting and skype was made so you can video chat....not just voice. However TeamSpeak/mumble etc have been specifically made for groups of people can chat. Therefore I vote TS

Is it possible to voicechat on Skype without a face cam? Because most of the server (me included) wouldn't feel comfortable with doing that . If the answer is yes, then I think it does make me happier to use Skype, although Teamspeak is still going to be my first choice. Like some people have been saying, Teamspeak will be confusing for the younger players. That being said, it COULD just be a voice chatting system for the staff (But really I don't see what's difficult about copying and pasting a server IP, it's basically just like Minecraft). And thanks Lexy! ;D

Yes you can. Although it still is rather annoying to use.

What I mean is that it is harder to use for groups. Although now that you mention it.....skype would be a good idea......ONLY if we could all video chat just to REALLY annoy lexy
