Why? So, I've been employed by the largest software/IT consulting firm in my part of the world, a company that brings in ~$500 mil in revenue globally, with ~25 offices in ~13 countries (incl US, UK etc etc AUS coming soon).
I'm not going to get a chance like this very often, so despite the long hours, and the mediocre pay that comes with a job in this part of the world, I took it. The brand name is recognized globally, and I plan on working there for 2-5 years, the experience will be invaluable.
What does this mean for you? I work from 9 - 6 local time, + a few hours or commuting time, so a decent chunk of my day is gone. That being said, I'd pretty happily spend the other 6 hours on TDF, and still can, but the issue is: Time Zones.
By the time I get home from work, it's 12AM aussie time, during school time, none of our players will be on at that time.
This does mean I can still perform my key duties as Eco manager, Staff Co-ord, etc etc, however some of the more mundane day-to-day duties may have to be taken over by our other staff (promotions, helping players).
I'll also be online during the weekends.
Great! Now what do I do? Where do I report stuff, who will be my vending machine? Report stuff on the forums, or if you don't want to, PM me, I check my PMs on the forum daily, and I read my server mails ever few days.
Chop your own damn trees and mine your own damn quartz
Also, I guess the timing fit in alright, because when kids go back to school, they'll be on much less as well.
When will you be back? I'll still be here, but less consistently, but in terms of when I'll be fully online again; probably 2 years.
Skull, I'm a 14-17 year old female, I'm lost without you. Call me.

I opened with a sad ass song, so here's something sad and happy at the same time, so I can really mess with your head
See you all on-and-off, and remember, the legend never dies.
