Hello Server Adventurers,
A new video about planet Acadar is in production. I just received a electronic copy of a licence which allows me to use a nice music score which will be in the video.
The music that was chosen and purchased is called 'Battle of the titans' from Machinima Sound. I purchased a licence to use the music piece for this video.
Hopefully there will be many more videos to come. I don't monetize my videos even though the licence says I can if I wish.
- Regards TangentSpy

I ended up using Camcasia since my TV Encoder (XSplit Broadcasting Software) expired in December last year. Camcasia is currently baking the movie now. Should take about 10-20 minutes. After the movie is baked. I will upload the video to YouTube.

Apart from a few minor spelling mistakes that was done really well, good job. Quite happy to see the HoJ, and CB Acadar branch featured in the video.

Music good - try to mesh up scenes with visual impact with the crescendos of the song.. (eg in my rather long boring tour video you notice certain notable parts in songs, like swords scraping or beats lined up with some of the scene changes) Footage has potential - i would however suggest playing with the F8 cinematic mode when doing screen captures. If you need a faster fly through record in F8 mode then use video editor to speed up the playback. bandicam is good for maintaining frame rates too but youd have to edit out the watermark or register it. Narration - good start but nail the typos ) or even think about actually reading it out - take a look at some movies that have narration in the intros and see what feel best and use it in yours. Cuts - see if you can edit out the start menu and the watermarks if possible. BTW i have boosted visual range by 3 and reduced the player slots a bit, so in theory if you pre-cache (fly through first, then record and fly through again) and use F8 you should be able to smooth out the chunk loading quite a lot. Or fly through slower on purpose (/speed can set you slower too) for the same speed effect speed it up again afterwards in the video editor. As i said before i have a spare nero video editor licence now, for the previous version, should do the job nicely, but you will need to bring your pc in to install it. Also make sure your /fog/ is turned on, it hides chunk loads well too. I know i made similar mistakes in some of my movies.. but that's how i learnt

There is no water marks in the video at all. The Machinima Sound logo is a attribution for the credits music. The typos was from me being very tired and a dodgy captioning system. Thats why I gave up on the captions half way through the video. Same for the visual effects. The option was there but I was just too tired so I gave up on it. The audio can also bee edited at any point. I can make certain sounds louder.
The next video I will probably make about Acadar is about the laboratory's.
I also still have all source footage and the movie project file for camcasia as well on my 1TB video production hard disk drive.
Also I need another website I can purchase music from because Machinima Sound didn't have very much to choose from to purchase.

I've herd of that website. Whats licencing do they offer? Full commercial use is cheap < this is for making products with the music then monetizing it or selling it ($2-$25) you can also purchase resell rights (sell the actual music without modifying it for more $$$). I've used them in several of my projects, both commerical and for university, they have the biggest selection I've seen, and the community is beyond amazing. I've had a case where I wasn't perfectly happy with a sound effect, and the creator literally made me a custom sound effect to my order for free. Would recommend 100%.

There is also a lot of unsigned or retired so they just made it freeware type stuff on last.fm too - trouble is the last.fm search is useless, it is more effective to use google to search last.fm.. then ironically last.fm's "similar" suggestions are usually dead on. Only their main page search sucks for whatever reason. In any event there is a boatload of royalty free mp3s for the taking.
That is where I get almost all my stuff, that and songs i remember from the "mod archive" and the now dead "trax in space" website back in the late 90's/ early 2000's
