brinsta suggested something which i've had at the back of my mind, and has been bounced around before -
Zombie Apocolypse world / adventure mode
She suggested Mars; although ive been thinking Cybertron may be a better place for it given the pre-built stuff and loot filled chests hidden about at random already by the generator.
Trouble is - adventure mode, is not a selectable world mode in our build of multiverse.... which may mean.. i need to do an update.
Any other thoughts or suggestions on this?

i think spending 4 hours on minez with brin leads to results like this on another note you should have worlds built for games like * The Walls *Crown Conquest *MineZ *Survival games survival games being my favorite if you had the city map they yogscast used that would be great i know you can set plug ins to certain worlds i have seen it done before, doing somthing like this will make a server a little less on the boreing side

Derp City - being on main world means we couldn't toggle to adventure mode automatically. Besides the zombie spawn rate there is pretty high at night already - and given the entire area is locked, its a bit like minez already, in that only abandoned and unlocked doors/chests can be accessed - and you cant simply grief/steal your way to survive.
The walls - basically a survival raid style pvp game with a gimmick (ie the walls) given it needs a "reset" this would better suit an instanced dungeon. Tangent tried already, the wiring wont work as the redstone passed into unloaded chunks. I know another way (using toggles) but they tend to be unreliable. The result of this sort of game is a lot of damage to landscape too - thus the need for an instanced "reset" No reason you couldnt play this sort of game on any of the existing worlds (ie survival combat/bases/team fortress/king of hill) minus the walls.
Crown combat? not even google can tell me what this is? Some sort of faction thing? Or a stats/rank based game like monarchy or fc_RPG?
MineZ - if i read this minecraft page right, its basically (zombie survival + difficulty hard + regenerating per player chests + pvp + limited food resources + fixed world) - building - mining Some plugins have a lot of this.. i vaguely recall at least one plugin where you can become infected (actually infected was the plugin name from memory?) if a zombie kills you, and then have to play a zombie team. Survival Games/Hunger games etc etc. Basically what mars is now. It is like a jail which has been abandoned by the homeworld; where there was a revolt and the prisoners escaped. The staff off the jail (who are quite few) also were left there, although some can leave on their own. Here you have to struggle to survive as it is basically 100% desert biome. It was stocked with a few survival bits, like hydroponics labs etc where you can find tree cuttings you can take to try to plant. Also what cybertron was previously. A sort of adventure/jailmode map where you have to fight to survive. If you get jailed on either of these planets, you can still walk around, you just cant break blocks etc. Cybertron has the extra advantage it has hidden chests on it all over already - while Mars only has the chests / resources in temples/dungeons the rest needs to be manually added.

Except for the world locked into adventure mode - minez just appears to involve pvp in a bunch of prebuilt cities; with player per regenerating chests; and the hunger/food physics modified by a plugin. Actually with our essentials.build plugin, as warpig, brin and wolfie found by accident in tardis; given a "blanked" rank the build ability is revoked.. that means i may be able to simulate the effect of adventure mode using specially restricted permissions. Ok - guys - based on bits of ideas bounced around - I've made a number of server side tweaks. Most of you who just sit on the homeworld nagging ops being boring wont notice a thing. For the rest of you this may be quite exciting - 1: Cybertron is now adventure mode, and HARD mode, and creatures spawn twice as much - the adventure mode is mainly a test, since this world can be regenerated (buildings and all) so it really doesn't need adventure mode - plus some chests are behind walls which need breaking- i am just testing it. Roads in outer areas can now have a derelict look. Doubt anyone will notice as most of the city is already explored. 2: Mars is now HARD mode, and i think only bad mobs spawn here. 3: Tardis's can now be called to Mars, asteroids, homeworld, and i think end and nether. I don't think full inventory sharing works on these worlds... but would be cool if worlds you cant normally transport items to and from.. allowed you to load up stuff into your tardis... that would add certain interesting consequences for technomancers... I'll have to look into this more. Grouping in multiverse inventory is in theory possible - so this is definitely worth me looking into. (ok ive setup ender chests to share with tardis's this may work :/) 4: Creatures don't spawn in asteroids (well its meant to be a vacuum!) this world needs a lot of work on the generator (plants shouldn't be spawning either and they do atm) 5: Funpark - creatures/mobs still spawn but in theory at a reduced rate. If this is not the case tell me! 6: Acadar - difficulty set to hard now. I had considered this as an adventure mode test, but there's not enough structures here yet. 7. More stuff to do - add more worlds to tardis and ender chest share.. gives players an incentive to go adventuring with mates in a tardis.

haha i was actually messing with my tardis today, yes it can go to the different worlds, and no you cant bring items from other worlds in unless its homeworld,
tardises shouldnt be given out willy nilly though, i mean, for instance if someone hoped in a tardis out side my city walls they can move a few blocks inside and hey presto there inside the city doing as they please. plus it could by pass area lock etc

I never suggested mars... yet i will be happy with building deserted townsScratch that, i will FREAKING LOVE BUILDING THEM! and they dont have to be zombies... maybe something more original like super-fast, supercharged creepers? and a creeper "giant" would be pretty awesome... This adventure mode problem, maybe we will have to manually give them to people (its not like they can /world anyway, they'll need a tp.) and maybe we can hybrid that other world idea we came up with (polluted planet) THIS JUST CAME TO ME: Plot, The polluted planet has a final last minute attempt to bring their world out of destruction, some nuclear experiments gone wtrong and mutated creepers, zombies, spiders and maybe skeletons (noone likes them anyway, especialy me )

I've gotten around the adventure mode flag issue.
Ive set that up on cybertron to test out. (need to test, as although the flag sets ok, i am not sure if it actually does anything atm)
As for custom mobs all we can change is their behavior; we cant alter appearance/size from server side. Although the server tex pack can allow us to reskin them. Feel free to submit skins. In that mindset ive set difficulty to HARD on worlds listed above to make them act more scary and aggro.
Since the main citadel stargate is dialled up to funpark at the moment; maybe we should dial up cybertron from the dark fortress or from the brotherhood gate so you guys can give it a crack..
Or have warpig pull a few people over to mars tho its only hard not adventure mode - should give an idea what to expect from mobs in hard mode.

there is already a gate way to the brotherhood world, its not very well known, and i plan to keep it that way for a while. also back with the tardis thing if you enable the thingy where your inventory can go into a tardis someone can load up while on projects dump it in there tardis and then bring it back to main world, dont to that

I've actually got it setup in a really confusing way. On the worlds tardis's can legally get to. (call may allow access to non listed worlds not sure untested) the ender chest contents are available. So you can use the chest as a sort of "cargo loading" box. So for example although your enchanted +3 flatulence armour created on mars wont follow you through the tardis door; if you were to pack it into a mars ender chest, and create an ender chest in a private room on your tardis, you can then grap it out from in the tardis and walk out into the main world with it. This function will not work on projects. Due to limitations and possible inventory overwriting, this was the only way i could work it to allow item exchange between worlds.. as such is a bit of a tardis owner perk (ie technomancer donator rank) there is already a gate way to the brotherhood world, its not very well known, and i plan to keep it that way for a while. also back with the tardis thing if you enable the thingy where your inventory can go into a tardis someone can load up while on projects dump it in there tardis and then bring it back to main world, dont to that

Wow, those ads on anonymous replies are annoying. Anyway. I gave cybertron a go in non-op normal player mode since ive not had any other feedback. The spawn stargate is dialled there at the moment since someone already shut off the funpark link. I've added some basic resources near the entry tunnel. With a few hints where stuff is (look for lights) Basically a wood supply a crafting table and a chest of food. Not exactly that other zombie game, but now you can craft a sword and not starve right away at least. Any suggestions let me know, many of you have played other zombie games I am thinking zombie spawners guarding good loot or such.

You may need a inventory editor for the monster spawners or you will get a pig spawner.
