wow that's a long reply nathan. I also discourage people from harassing each other on the server. The reason being is that other people who play the server might leave due to there being to many arguments and harassment's. It also puts our server reputation down.

Amazing post, phoenix.
I know I've had my outbursts in the past... but honestly, looking back at them makes me ashamed of myself. I feel like deleting some posts to avoid looking foolish.
Now I understand why you went off topic on certain matters and tried to change the topic on several occasions to avoid awkward and hurtful moments.
For example, chad: I've had my tough times with him. I used to hate him and think that all he did was attack the server, when in reality, he's just another kid on the block, people attack him, so he retaliates... apart from a few swastikas, he's harmless.
People need to learn to ignore (I know I'm one to talk eh? haha.)... At first, you get hurt because someone is insulting you, but insulting them back will hardly acheive anything... it just becomes a vicious cycle, and if nothing else, it hampers your judgement and causes you to make desicions you shouldn't have. Ignoring or changing the subject early on helps to avoid conflicts and once you get used to it, instead of feeling *Oh this guy insulted me but I didn't reply, I am really hurt and I feel like I have to reply* you will feel *Good thing I ignored this guy... if I'd continued, both of us would be more hurt and nothing good would have come of it... Damn this feels good*.
I think, if you're staff don't punish people based on if it's hurting you. Punish people if they are hurting the server. Sticks and stones will break your bones, but words will never hurt you.
If you find yourself being offended by people, try and imagine that they are actually a banana. That helps. a lot.
