Trouble is warps go /near/ maybe 10% of the places on the server. I could grant you temp access to the admin spawn (visualise those corridors with doors in the matrix for an idea what thats like) theres over 250 of those! Then you have fast travel points.. which take that up to maybe 15% There's many hundreds of these too as i recall. That is still 75% of the server not immediately easy to find Add to that individual players sethome location, that brings it up to maybe 65% but thats impossible to use without a detailed list of players who even SET a home location. A further 15% home locations would have been lost linked to players not on for the 2 years or more - who lack an updated valid essentials user data profile - (the reason we disabled nicks for Elementals was ages back they were currupting userdata, so a bunch of userdata had to be removed).. We have a semi secret google satelite map page of the world, but this will not show underground things, nor things on other sides of large objects, or deep holes. So basically me with all this information indirectly available still cant find over half the stuff on the server. The server tour video, which is ~ 40 minutes long, only used warp locations i had set myself over time, and the estimate there is that 40 minute video was only about 5% of the stuff on the server! What i really need is a mapper much like pigmap (eg techtonius) that will add signs it finds to the map as google map points of interest. Trouble is techtonius threw in the towel over the size of our map 2 years ago. I got maybe 1 good render back then before it overloaded and I switched to pigmap which lacks point of interest tracking.
